Introduction
Key Takeaways
Building a high-performance team requires the right combination of people and culture — and someone who can bring them together. With more than two decades of executive experience, Apptega’s new chief people officer Dilshan Ratnayake is up to the challenge.
Ratnayake brings a track record of success building high-integrity and culturally inclusive teams for global organizations. He was most recently the executive vice president and chief people officer for Securonix, a leading SaaS cybersecurity provider that was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2022. Before that, he served as head of human resources of the technology organization at Sabre Corporation, a publicly traded travel technology leader. He’s also held various senior HR leadership positions for global food and facilities management company Aramark.
In his new role, Ratnayake will focus on helping Apptega scale, leading talent recruiting, retention, and development during a period of robust growth and transformation. He’ll have his hands full with several open roles across the company, including openings for a new customer success manager, account executive, channel sales manager, and business development representative. Ratnayake will also be responsible for strengthening organizational culture, equipping teams and individuals for success.
“I’m coming from several private and publicly traded organizations that capitalized on their enormous potential,” Ratnayake said in a press release. “I recognize the same promise in Apptega as one of cybersecurity’s next great companies and am fully committed to helping everyone across the organization achieve their individual and company-wide goals.”
Ratnayake joins a stacked leadership team of security experts with deep experience building successful managed security companies. This leadership expertise has helped inform Apptega’s vision to enable managed service and security providers to easily deliver continuous compliance solutions that drive revenue, margins, and retention.
As chief people officer, Ratnayake will extend these transformations beyond executive leadership, helping build a high-performing team, culture, and product across the company.
