ATLANTA—June 12, 2018—Apptega, the global cybersecurity management software company, is announcing it has added a multi-tenant portal capability to the Apptega platform. The Apptega Multi-Tenant Portal (MTP) provides a method to manage multiple accounts (tenants, customers, business units, locations) from a single dashboard. Each tenant has its own Apptega platform unique to its business requirements and environment.
“As security and compliance increases in complexity, large organizations and managed service providers (MSPs) struggle to manage multiple cybersecurity programs, business units and customers,” said Armistead Whitney, CEO of Apptega. “The Apptega MTP makes it easy for these organizations to quickly view, report and act on multiple security programs all in one place.”
The Apptega MTP gives organizations the ability to deliver a “shared-services model” that allows for companies to define roles, add users, create custom frameworks (security programs), create customer accounts, and assign privileges, while also being able to assign sub-controls (specific requirements of the framework) and tasks to either a multi-tenant user for a user at an individual instance. Once assigned, the portal sends reminder emails and calendar links as the deadline approaches helping to relieve the stress associated with managing multiple deadlines across multiple instances.
By using the Apptega MTP, custom programs can be created once and deployed across all customer portals. This provides the ability to maintain consistency when creating a program that needs to be deployed uniformly across different customers, instances, or business operating groups. The Apptega MTP takes away the stress of managing multiple customers by giving the multi-tenant user all they need in one place to provide ongoing easy management of their cybersecurity goals.
