General Manager, CyberXchange

Apptega is seeking a highly motivated and high-energy entrepreneur possessing a unique balance of eCommerce, sales, and organizational skills to manage and grow a new cybersecurity marketplace platform while partnering with some of the most recognizable brands across the globe. You have a passion for online commerce, sales execution, product experience, business development, partner management, and mobilizing teams and resources to deliver results.

Reporting directly to Apptega’s CEO, you’ll be working with one of the fastest-growing and most innovative cybersecurity companies in Atlanta located in Tech Square in midtown Atlanta, the hub of innovation and technology in the southeast. Our team has helped grow some of the largest brands in the technology ecosystem, and you’ll be working side by side as a key member of the team.


Our Culture


  • Develop a go-to-market plan to fully monetize the market opportunity and achieve financial goals
  • Oversee platform feature enhancements for superior user experiences and adoption
  • Apply and report key metrics to drive insights and decision-making
  • Actively participate in recruiting suppliers and users
  • Over time you will build and manage a team of internal and external resources to support the growth of the venture
  • Manage the budget and P&L
  • Be an ambassador to represent CyberXchange at events, public speaking opportunities, trade shows, customer/partner forums, and Board meetings


  • Experience working in an eCommerce platform business that grew from start-up to multimillion-dollar business
  • Vibrant and energetic mindset with a “get it done” attitude
  • Appetite for taking large risks
  • Willingness to conduct heavy cold-calling and business development early on to recruit suppliers, generate brand awareness and sales
  • Relentless perseverance and closing skills to get deals signed
  • Experience building and maintaining lasting relationships with buyers and partners
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes


  • University or college degree in business, marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the B2B or B2C eCommerce industry with a platform that dominated its market
  • Experience working in a start-up or high-growth mid-sized company preferred
  • Track record of achieving sales or business goals
  • Willingness to travel to partner sites and to attend events as needed (post-COVID)
  • Consistent track record of success
